Tyra and Marthin - Commission by SteveSketches Tyra and Marthin - Commission by SteveSketches
I was recently commissioned by :iconquete-de-l-aube: to illustrate their characters Tyra and Marthin. I thought it would be a great project, and I tried to create an interesting narrative for them. This project was a lot of fun to work on.

About 6 hours in Photoshop.

Tyra and Marthin belong to Marie Laure Cabot and Fred Filliaert. :iconquete-de-l-aube:

I like the composition and the costumes. I can't seem to make my costumes look realistic.

I have a very difficult with costumes myself, mostly designing them. The best way to improve is just to keep doing it. :)

This is awesome, from the way the characters are drawn to the lighting and the more "subtle" elements :D .

He he, that part was fun. I enjoyed using the composition to lead up to the monster, sort of as a surprise.
